Can’t make our main meeting? Try one of our satellite groups!

Many of you are unable to make our monthly meeting every 4th Tuesday of the month.  Luckily, due to the tremendous heart and generosity of several group members, we have a plethora of satellite groups that all meet at different times and places throughout the city!  Currently, we have groups operating in Highlands Ranch, Lakewood, and Northeast Denver.  Groups are soon to come to Aurora, Northglenn, and even down in Colorado Springs!  If interested, please shoot us an email to and we will provide you with any details we can provide.  You can also email us for access to the Facebook group, where you can engage all of our talented and driven writers.  We hope to hear from you soon!

Coming Saturday? Here’s what you need to know

We are so excited that you’ll be joining us Saturday. We are praying this day makes a difference in your life — and together we can help change the world.

The first session starts at 8:30, so you’ll want to allow some time to park and register. We’ll even have gourmet coffee and fresh baked treats ready. Our registration desk opens up at 7:30, so come early and make some friends.

No need to bring a ticket. We have a list with your name on it.

Are you needing a new photo for your bio? Ashlee Bratton will be taking professional photos for just $25. Dress sharp and smile.

Check out the program here and  choose your breakouts. There is no preregistration, just go to the classroom. Note that every speaker will present the topic twice, back to back. That way, you won’t have to choose between two speakers who are in the same slot.

Do you have a book that you would like to share with your fellow writers? We will have doorprize give-aways of author books throughout the conference. If you want to donate a copy, we’ll have a table for attendees to thumb through before we give them away.

We’ll also offer a room just for those of you that want to sell and autograph your books. It’s over the lunch hour and should be a great time to mingle.

Christian Life News will be livestreaming some of our sessions and will be interviewing various authors throughout the day. You’ll have the chance to purchase access after the conference, that way you can catch up on the sessions you missed. The special pricing is only for attendees, so you will be getting the best deal possible.

If you love poetry reading and free-form exposure to words, Christian Life News is hosting a reading session during the lunch hour downstairs. You won’t want to miss hearing some great work from your fellow writers.

Do you have a friend who might want to come? There’s still time and we have just a few seats left. Using the code “NotTooLate” they’ll even get $15 off. Do you have a teen writer in your church circle or family? They have a special track and a great rate. Register here.

We can hardly wait to see you.

Changing the world with words,

Writers on the Rock

Conference 2016

The world is changing.

We’re making the transition from an industrial society to an information age. Like the machinists and engineers of the previous age, this new era demands a different set of skills from those who write.

Are you ready to communicate to a changing world?cropped-WordsMatter-copy.jpg
